LG Display plans to reduce 10,000 tons of greenhouse gas this year with 88 partners. This is equivalent to the amount of greenhouse gases absorbed by 1.5 million trees in a year.

LG Display provided and improved its management tool to suit its partner companies. This year, in order to accelerate the establishment of a green ecosystem in South Korea, energy efficiency improvement will be strengthened, such as △Engineer efficiency improvement △ Waste heat recovery and recycling △ Light emitting diode (LED) lighting replacement. Building an eco-friendly, low-carbon ecosystem in the display manufacturing process is considered a key task.

LG Display has formed an environment-focused organization and is implementing various policies to achieve carbon neutrality, such as △ Development of low-carbon production technology, △ Development of eco-friendly products, △ Maximize energy efficiency, △ Reinforce monitor of air and water pollutant emissions, and △ Participate in the greenhouse gas emission trading system.
