TRUWIN announced on August 30th it will supply 'SLS', a brake switch product for electric vehicles, to 'GV60', the first electric vehicle of Hyundai Motor’sGenesis brand. TRUWIN also explained that it will additionally supply 'BPS' to Nio, a Chinese electric vehicle maker.

SLS is a non-contact switch that detects brake pedal movement and outputs a vehicle brake lamp lighting signal. It is characterized by no physical wear and contact defects compared to existing mechanical switches, with excellent durability, according to the company.

In BPS, when the driver steps on a vehicle pedal, the sensor measures the voltage value and transmits an electrical signal to the electronic control unit. TRUWIN is exclusively supplying BPS to all types of the eco-friendly vehicles ofHyundai and Kia Motors, and it is expanding its suppliers by winning an order for Ford in the United States.

A TRUWIN official said, “Our sensor sales and order contracts have been steadily increasing as we started supplying electric vehicle parts and aggressive sales activities. We will target the rapidly growing global electric vehicle parts market, starting with Korea and China.”
