Western Digital (WD) has launched SanDisk Professional, a premium storage solution brand for content creators and professionals. By integrating the previously dispersed professional storage brands, they will beginto 'select and concentrate'. It is an aspiration to grabthe rapidly growing demand for video and data storage for professionals.

Western Digital announced on the 23rd that it would unveil its professional storage brand 'SanDisk Professional' and launch a large number of new products such as △Compact Flash (CF) Card △Reader △Docking Station △Portable and Desktop PC Drive.
 
The newly released 'Pro-Cinema CF express' is a professional-grade CF express card for video producers and cinematographers, boasting a fast recording time of at least 400 MB/s. 'Pro-Reader' consists of 4 types of USB-C interface readers that support the 10Gbps standard. It can read the latest camera media such as CF express, CF card, micro SD card, and SD card. 'Pro-Dock 4' is a 4-bay reader and docking station. It supports 4 cards at the same time in accordance with the production environment using multiple cameras.

Western Digital also unveiled a lineup of portable and desktop drives. Including the new 4TB G-Drive Armorlock Encrypted NVMeSSD, G-Drive Ultra Rugged and G-RAID were included in the lineup.

Western Digital plans to accelerate its entry into the professional storage solution market through the new SanDisk Professional brand. Existing storage brands, such as G-Technology and HGST, will be merged into SanDisk Professional to launch integrated brand marketing. In particular, it is expected that the demand for professional storage will increase sharply as the video quality becomes higher and size becomes larger.
