ARIMCLOSET (http://en.arimcloset.com/), an online specialty mall selling small children’s clothing, follows a strict in-house production process using 100% real cotton only. These competitive traits have led ARIMCLOSET gain popularity, and now it is expanding its business globally.
“We make items using top-quality materials only, designed to be easy-to-wear as kids are usually very active,” explained Jaeyoung Jung, CEO of ARIMCLOSET. She also added that most of the production is done in-house, a competitive aspect that enhances quality, which even international buyers have praised.
Since last year, ARIMCLOSET has been exporting to various countries in Europe, including the UK and Netherlands. And this year, ARIMCLOSET launched the English version of its website through cafe24 (http://www.cafe24corp.com/en), the global e-commerce platform. One of CEO Jung’s goals includes expanding globally in order to raise brand awareness and demand.
“As kids grow fast and their clothes don’t last long, we’ve added strings to adjust the size so all kids, regardless their age, can wear for many years,” describes CEO Jung.

Depending on the concepts ARIMCLOSET tries to portray, it uses various props and lighting when shooting product photos to be posted on its e-commerce sites. Most notably, it makes sure to take time to explain carefully all details of each product, size and fabric used, how to wear certain accessories and small parts, all which help new moms make decisions when placing orders.
Despite not actively marketing outside South Korea, ARIMCLOSET is receiving orders from everywhere. ARIMCLOSET’s allure, use of the finest materials, mix-and-match of kids’ clothes and accessories have proved to be successful not only in its turf but also abroad.
Using ARIMCLOSET’s online success, CEO Jung is currently is reviewing expanding sales channels offline. She plans on running both online and offline channels in and outside S. Korea in order to raise brand awareness to a new level.
CEO Jung went on to say, “Moms, no matter their nationalities, have one thing in common -- always put our children first and give them the best. With this always in mind, ARIMCLOSET will do its best to offer them those best items they are looking for.”
