According to the business on the 8th, Hyundai Motor will be putting wireless smart phone charging feature as an option for Santa Fe facelift. The self-developed wireless charger will be in pad form, located in the center box of frontal seat of the vehicle. Through CAN(Controller Area Network) communication, it prevented smart key and electric wave interference.
The related official said, “The Santa Fe that will be released in the later half of 2015 will have wireless smart phone charge as an option.”
The new Santa Fe has minor changes but will definitely noticeable changes in frontal grill, headlight, and bumper design. With emphasis on luxurious feel, there will be much more convenient features.
Wireless charge was previously installed only luxurious cars. Now more popularized Santa Fe will have the feature as well. Santa Fe is best selling SUV, recording 6000 car sales per month.
After Santa Fe and Galaxy S6 had been connected due to wireless charging, there has been increase in demand for wireless charging. Galaxy S6 has wireless charging function pre-installed. The charging efficiency also has become better by 90% compared to wired charging.
