The Olleh Market, KT’s application market, is opened to the 0.6 billion or so subscribers of China Mobile from July 9. It is the first outcome of the One Asia Super Inter Store (OASIS) project jointly run by KT, China Mobile and NTT Docomo since earlier this year. The Olleh Market is scheduled to be housed in the Japanese mobile carrier’s application store next month, too. On July 4, KT announced that its application store is soon to become available on its Chinese partner’s MM, or Mobile Market, on a shop-in-shop basis. Down the road, around 40 of the most popular applications are picked out and offered to Chinese smart phone users. The number is increased up to 100 by the end of this year. For its promotion, the Korean telecom operator holds a developer conference on July 12 in Guangzhou. At the same time, KT is going to start the Global Frontier Project, assisting developers with localization and marketing while guaranteeing their profit up to 0.1 billion won a person.
