Digital Mainboard for PC that can change the voltage and an electric current is introduced for the first time in Korea.
Bigbeam (CEO Keum Sang-Yeon www. bigbeam.co.kr), a distributing company specialized in IT peripherals, announced on 14th that they have released `ABIT AB9 QuadGT (photo)` that adopts digital power supply switching from the analog power supply.
Switched its power supply from analog to digital, it is distinguishing that it can be used with a small adjustment regardless of various voltage input and electric current.
According to the company, its power supply is more stable, and it emits less heat even when the CPU is as fast as 4~5GHz.
"Though many of other analog functions have changed to digital in 20 years of PC history, the change in power supply for the mainboard, the `heart of the computer,` is its first time. We increased the compatibility with high-performance processors that will be released in the future," said a Bigbeam official.
This product is based on Intel Chipset, and its retail price is 235 thousand won.
