Emersys (http://www.emersys.co.kr), digital sound software venture located in the Daedeok Belly is to enter into the Japanese market. On Tuesday Dec. 11, Emersys signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on which an agreement to export Emersys` "Maven 3D" would be based in the headquarters of its counterpart, Landport (http://www.landport.co.jp), Japanese software localization and distribution company.

According to the MOU, Emersys is to export the product and Landport is to take care of the distribution and sales beginning in February next year.
Maven 3D is a digital 3D sound writing tool that enables a person to easily edit digital sounds using a PC.

In addition to the Landport deal, Emersys is currently under negotiation with another leading Japanese software distributor for the export of Maven 3D. Kim Poong-min, CEO of Emersys, said, "We give a lot of meaning to this deal for stepping in a picky market."

"Following up this Lanport deal, we will expand our business to other overseas marketplaces like the U.S.," he added.
