Exclusive weblog analysis companies such as Weblog, Advernet and IMIT are strengthening sales strategie for this market, anticipating that this market will grow more than double as companies have much interest in the eCRM (e-Customer Relations Management) and VRM (Visitor Relations Management).
These companies such as Weblog, Advernet and IMIT are looking for new demand by introducing new products, launching e-business, sales promotion, free distribution and even free consultation. That is, they are preparing the all-out war. With this, 7-8 companies are expected to compete fiercely in this market in the second half of the year with Softdigm and ViaScope Int. joining the market sooner of later.
Weblog (chaired by Kim Jang-won) has come up with a new product, weblog 3.0 lately and it plans to put on the market a log analysis engine, weblog SDK in July to enlarge the demand.
Weblog expects that eCRM solution companies will have interest in Weblog SDK because it can be used with a little customizing attached to eCRM on the market. In this term, Weblog plans on free distribution of weblog SW which targets dot-com companies and now proceeding consultation about enterprise strategy through log analysis.
Weblog will hold the seminar on the dot-com companies` survival strategies at Cosmo Tower in Daechi-Dong, Seoul late this month. It plans to present customer`s analysis, measures to overcome dot-com companies` crisis and site remodeling through log analysis. Weblog sold 1,000 copies of the product through Seoul metropolitan government and it plans to achieve the sales of 2 billion won double as much as those of last year.
Advernet (chaired by No Byung-chae) lately provided Korea.com and Daewoo Securites with web-trans products and it showed the favourable tendency, achieving sales of 0.7 billion won in the first quarter. It also seeks for expanding demands by working as a weblog analysis service agency for the IDC tenants and cooperating with CRM solution companies.
Especially, it established the sales strategy linking with the VRM solution that has come out on the market of late. And it plans to extend the base through the mass seminars in June. Advernet is aiming at the sales of about 3billion won, twice as much as the sales last year.
IMIT(chaired by Lee, Hee-won), which introduced Syswatcher, a weblog integrated analysis solution, also made a contract with LG IBM earlier this month to provide Syswatcher on a full scale. It plans to seek to expand the volume of export by diversifying methods of sales like selling on-line. In addition, an online analysis performance solution company (OLAP), Softdigm and an information solution company, ViaScope Int. are expected to join this market soon.
Softdigm (chaired by Han, Jong-in) is developing the weblog analysis tools based on his analytical know-how on data that it acquired in the OLAP field in a plan to release it within next month. Softdigm is obtaining good result by applying the basic technology of weblog analysis to some customer companies. Furthermore, with the introduction of the product on the market, it is groping after differentiating itself by providing analysis consulting linked with members and sales data.
ViaScope Int. (chaired by Kim Chan-woo) plans to bring weblog analysis solution to the market within next month to provide comprehensive website analysis and management solution along with Webmonster Out, the existing program to block harmful sites.
