ISU PETASYS will start the construction of a new factory to increase production by 200 billion KRW in annual sales.

ISU PETASYS held a ground-breaking ceremony for a new high-end printed circuit board (PCB) factory at the 1st industrial complex of Dalseong plant in Daegu on the 17th.

The ground-breaking ceremony was attended by major officials from the company, including chairman of ISU GROUP, Sang-beom Kim, vice chairman of ISU PETASYS, Seong-min Kim, CEO of ISU PETASYS Young-joon Seo, and director of ISU CHEMICAL, Hak-bong Kim.

The goal of new plant is to expand the production of high multi-layer printed circuit board (MLB). Investment amount will be around 838 billion KRW. It will be established with a total ground area of about 14,590㎡(2 stories).

They are targeting to start the operation by 2024. Upon full-scale operation, the entire plant will be able to additionally mass-produce up to 200 billion KRW worth of high multi-layer PCB per year. It is expected to have the largest production capacity among domestic high multi-layer MLB production companies.

ISU PETASYS is a company that produces multi-layer MLB for communication networks. The company announced that it has decided to expand their facilities as a preemptive response to the growing demand for high density, high multi-layer board as the construction of 5G communication infrastructure and acceleration of data centers.

CEO of ISU PETASYS, Young-joon Seo, said, “We plan to utilize the new factory as a high-end PCB production base including a hyperscale data center. With expansion of production, we will form a structure with annual sale of 600 billion KRW within next 5 years and strengthen competitiveness of high-end PCB sector.”
