Game Hi said on April 30 that it signed an agreement with Shanda Games, a game developer and publisher in China, for the release of its FPS game Sudden Attack in China.Shanda Games has generated revenue of $700 million in 2009. Currently, it is managing the local service of Korean online games including NC Soft’s AION, Nexon’s B&B and Maple Story. Jeong Woon-sang, president of Game Hi, said, “Shanda Games has shown its excellence in the publishing and operating capability for gaming contents in China. We expect that the company will raise the value of Sudden Attack in China. For the success of Sudden Attack, we will also share every effort for the local service.”Sudden Game is a first person shooting game which topped the list for 106 weeks in Korea. It used the character of Korean idol singers and groups like Rain, Big Bang and 2NE1 in the game, attracting youngsters to the game.
