Video surveillance makers have unveiled new models in order to boost slow surveillance business. Local video surveillance equipments, which will be on display in overseas exhibition, are sharply divided into high-end goods equipped with high technology and low-end with basic function.Idis, the largest local DVR maker, will show new low-end CDRs at the ASIS 2008, which is surveillance equipment exhibition that will be held in U.S. from September15 to 17. The company has turned its attention to mid and low-end markets as premium DVR market, its main target, has slowed down this year. New CDR series are competitive because they have compact external shapes with capability of recording 4~16 channels, the company announced.
