SK ICT Alliance, including, SK Hynix, SK Telecom, and SK Square, held its first global strategy meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to create synergy between SK ICT affiliates amidst the rapidly changing global business environment.

On the 8th and 9th, the SK ICT Alliance Global Strategy Meeting was held in Jeju. presided over by Jung-ho Park, CEO and Vice Chairman of SK hynix, as well as Vice Chairman of SK Square.

The meeting was organized at the suggestion of Vice Chairman Park, and key executives and members from ICT affiliates, including Young-sang Ryu, president of SK Telecom and SK Broadband, Sung-ha Park, president of SK Square, Noh-jung Kwak, president of SK Hynix, Poong-young Yoon, president of SK Holdings C&C, and Jinhyo Park, president of SK Shieldus attended it. 9 heads of overseas corporations from the US, Japan, China, the European Union (EU), and Singapore also attended the meeting. The SK ICT Alliance plans to hold regular meetings every year.

The meeting was held in the form of a relay discussion where Vice Chairman Park brought up different topics, and directly raised various topics to the heads of overseas corporations and executives sitting on the podium. The main topics of discussion include countermeasures against the uncertain global business environment and geopolitical risks, and collaboration between ICT related companies.

It is reported that the executives and members reviewed risk and opportunity factors for each country in relation to the semiconductor business and discussed ways to strengthen global production capabilities at the meeting. Following server, mobile, and PC, intensive discussions continued on future key growth industries such as the semiconductor market for vehicles, including EVs and autonomous cars, which are emerging as major demand sources for semiconductors.

The topic of ways to strengthen the investment capabilities of ICT related companies, centering on SK Square, was also discussed. It is understood that SK Hynix's top management meeting has decided to operate as a 'problem-solving' meeting body that leads and resolves issues without post-reporting in order to strengthen 'speed management' that responds promptly to the rapidly changing business environment.
