CEO Ji said in an employee's New Year's address on the 3rd, "Last year, SK On hit a milestone in achieving the 'Financial Story'," stressing, "This year will be a year of roaring with a tiger-like spirit toward the grand dream of becoming the world's No. 1, with the commercial operation of the Yancheng factory in China, as well as the completion and operation of factories in the U.S. and Hungary."
SK On aims to become the No. 1 electric vehicle battery company by △ strengthening product competitiveness, △ upgrading production levels and capabilities, and △ enhancing the ability to execute financial stories.
CEO Ji stressed, "We will make the best performing, safest and most economical battery, based on the safety of satisfying customer needs, and we will make various battery products such as electric vehicle batteries that are competitively priced."
In particular, SK On announced that it will provide a virtuous cycle of solid financial performance, operating rate, and early stabilization of yield. CEO Ji said, "The discovery and implementation of global partners will be a lever to develop us to potentially become the world's number one." He further emphasized, "I want all members to work together on the grand starting line."
