The lead tab is a component that connects to the cathode and anode plates, which are battery materials, to input and output electricity to and from the outside. Large lead tabs are used in electric vehicle batteries that lower battery electrical resistance and improve charging/discharging speed.
NEPES is targeting the large lead tab market, focusing on the electric vehicle market. It is known that LG Energy Solution and SK On, Korea's leading battery manufacturers, have been secured as customers. NEPES is expected to expand the supply of lead tabs by starting mass production of lead tabs to overseas battery companies. According to the stock market, NEPES is expected to double its monthly lead tab shipments of 5 million sets in the new year. Sales are expected to exceed the KRW mid-20 billion range from KRW 10 billion.
