On 13th November, Gomics announced it has signed a contract for the use of GOM token with Mudon Bridge Limited(武盾多利有限公司) which is scheduled to do the webtoon service to provide webtoons about 400 million people in seven countries, including Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Macao and Vietnam.
Mudon Bridge Limited(武盾多利有限公司) is facing the supply contract as a business partner with Taiwan Star Telecom which is Taiwan’s first webtoon company in the country established jointly by three countries (China, Taiwan, Korea) and secured 3 million subscribers.
Wang Duk Sa, CEO of Mudon Bridge Limited(武盾多利有限公司) said that seven counties in Asia’s webtoon growth rate has increased 30% rapidly every year and the webtoon platform’s number of monthly users are about 50 million people based on the number of users who are secured by news agency and its own country’s large site.
Gomics has been contacting Chinese Weboon platform corporation additionally and working on a GOM Token interlocking operation with the aim of service within the year in China so it is expected to maximize profits by supplying exclusive contents of Gomics to foreign platforms at the same time as token services.
On the occasion of this Chinese Service, Gomcis(GOM) will be able to expand the GOM Token service to North America to Europe, etc for expansion of GOM Token use.
In addition, Gomics will launch its own content-based webtoon platform with token payment on 20th December.
