Techvalley (CEO: Kim, Han-Seok), an industrial X-ray specialist company, will participate in Electronics Manufacturing Korea 2019 (“EMK 2019”) held at COEX from May 15 (Wed) to May 17 (Fri) to present X-ray in-line AXI (Automated X-ray Inspection) system and X-ray automatic chip counter equipment.

The AXI system introduced through the exhibition is a non-destructive inspection system that uses X-ray to inspect the areas where the current market-existing vision inspection machines such as AOI cannot examine. The AXI system is also able to analyze and compile detailed data of the location and size of defected parts. It is expected to contribute to product quality improvement since it can automatically perform a complete inspection at an in-line condition.

In Korea, Techvalley is the only X-ray company who runs a radiographic image research center and vision analyzing S/W team. The company also developed an i-Top system which can detect defects in multi-layer overlapped images.

Since its establishment in 1997, Techvalley has focused on R&D in X-ray technology and has been developing solutions of SMT/PCB, precision electronic parts (semiconductor, mobiles, automotive electronic boards), and others for building smart factories in various industries. Notably, the company’s proud developments, the in-line AXI (automated X-ray inspection) system’s double-sided and multi-layer inspection functions, have been widely accepted by the industry.

An official of Techvalley said, "Our goal is to expand market share through overseas market penetration." and "We plan to invest in developing key technologies that will create future markets."

Meanwhile, Korea Electronics Manufacturing Korea has grown into an internationally recognized exhibition receiving steady interests by domestic and foreign buyers as Korea’s largest electronics manufacturing exhibition. Co-hosted with ‘Autotronics Manufacturing Korea (AMK)' since 2017, EMK has held various seminars and events to exhibitors and visitors.
