JB Financial Group’s JB Bank (President Lim Yong-taek) announced that it obtained ‘ISMS (Information Security Management Systems’ Certification’ for its internet banking (mobile and web) and safe system.
With a goal of establishing an advanced ISMS in mind, JB Bank received certifications not just for its internet banking system but also for its safe services in cities and counties in Jeollabuk-do Province.
As a result, it is officially approved for foreign trust regarding appropriateness of its management system for protecting customer information and stability of its services.

“Our bank is focusing on digital finance and is planning to convert ourselves into a digital business.” said Vice-President Jeon Byung-chan of JB Bank. “We are going to continue to improve and supplement our systems and weaknesses so that our strategy can be safely established and focus on safely protecting important customer information.”
ISMS Certification is a system that examines and certifies a business according to 104 checklists to see whether a business’ ISMS is suitable or not so that possible damage from information spill can be prevented in advance. It is supervised by Ministry of Science and ICT and it is decided by Financial Security Institute and Korea Internet & Security Agency after their evaluations.
