Premium Smartphone that has Lamborghini design, which is an Italian luxury sports car brand, as its high-tech material is soon to be released in South Korea. Its price will be above $2,000 and this is the highest asking price out of all Smartphones that have been officially released in South Korea.
DASAN Networks and its subsidiary called Korasia officially launched limited edition of Lamborghini Smartphone called ‘ALPHA-ONE’ in Russia, South Korea, Dubai, China, and England on the 16th at 1:30 A.M. (Korea time). One can purchase this Smartphone at online shopping malls and DASAN Networks is planning to officially introduce ALPHA-ONE in person on the 18th in South Korea.
“We have decided to release Smartphone, which was made by working with Lamborghini, in order to introduce a product that has brand philosophy, design, and scarcity since it is very difficult to compete against other businesses in Smartphone markets with technical skills alone.” said Chairman Nam Min-woo of DASAN Networks.
Biggest characteristic of ALPHA-ONE is that it uses liquid metal, which is an expensive special alloy that is used for scalpel for surgeries and head of fancy golf clubs and is stronger than titanium. It prevents Smartphones from outside impact and abrasion and expresses luxurious color for long time without any changes in color.
ALPHA-ONE has the finest Italian leather, which had gone through manual work, on its back cover and adds more luxury and feeling of comfortable grip. Finally DASAN Networks completed its strong appearance with metal ornament with cow design inside of a red shield that represents Lamborghini family and gold stitch.
It also has variety of functions and high performance as it is a premium Smartphone that costs over $2,000.
ALPHA-ONE has Dolby’s sound system as its dual-speakers and provides 3D sound quality that vivifies 3D effect. It takes pictures with high-quality through 20MP rear camera and 8MP front camera and is installed with optical and electronic dual image stabilization functions. It allows one to record 4K UHD videos and has increased level of convenience and security through its fingerprint sensors located on the back.
ALPHA-ONE has 5.5-inch WQHD AMOLED display (1440x2560), Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal memory. One can use two different numbers on ALPHA-ONE as it has Dual SIM and it is equipped with 3,250 mAh battery. Its call waiting is 314 hours and one can be on a call for 13 hours straight. It supports rapid charging as it has C-type USB port and operates based on Android 7.0 (Nougat).
DASAN Networks is waiting to sign a contract with Harrods Department Store from England regarding exclusive sales. When this contract is signed, DASAN Networks is going to sell ALPHA-ONE at a separate space located on the third floor of Harrods Department Store.
