SEOUL, South Korea December 01, 2016- The global e-commerce platform, cafe24(CEO Jae-Suk Lee, www.cafe24corp.com/en) announced on the 1st that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Chonbuk National University(President Nam—Ho Lee) to foster young entrepreneurs who to launch an e-commerce business in the global market.
Through this MOU, cafe24 and Chonbuk National University have agreed to cooperate on ‘Start-up Practice Program’ which can enhance individual’s capabilities for global online business. This program aims to train and educate prep-entrepreneurs, helping them grow into global talent. It includes from opening and managing international shopping sites to merchandising sales.
First, cafe24 is to provide practical training specialized in a multi-language online shopping site for students at Chonbuk National University in South Korea. The training, instructed by e-commerce experts will be very essential for online business startups.

In addition, cafe24 will support overseas programs for student entrepreneurs of Chonbuk National University. To do, cafe24 plans to offer start-up program in the Philippines as well and conduct the Global Young Entrepreneurs projects for students from Chonbuk National University and the Philippines universities.
Chonbuk National University, on the other hand, will select eligible applicants for this Global Young Entrepreneurs project while providing financial support and enriching educational environment.
