Samsung Electronics made an announcement on the 29th that it will be releasing 88-inch (223cm), 78-inch (198cm), and 65-inch (163cm) KS 9800 series that are new Quantum-Dot Display SUHD TVs.
By releasing three new TVs, Samsung Electronics has broadened range of choice for consumers in size of a TV. Product lines of SUHD TVs are formed in variety and they are: 88-inch, 78-inch, and 65-inch KS9800 series, 78inch, 65-inch, and 55-inch (138cm) KS9500 series, 65-inch, 55-inch, and 49-inch KS8500 series, and 65-inch, 60-inch (152cm), 55-inch, and 49-inch KS8000 series.
Range of choice in design according to consumers’ personalities has also become broadened as KS9800 and KS9500 provide elegant design that increases quality of a living room while KS8500 and KS8000 provide modern design.
Quantum-Dot Display SUHD TV has each Quantum-Dot element, which is only ten-thousandth of size of a hair, express clear and pure color. Because it is made with inorganic material, it has high durability and can provide excellent quality for long period of time.
Store prices of 88-inch, 78-inch, and 65-inch KS9800 series are $25,188 (33 million KRW), $10,831 (12.9 million KRW), and $6,624 (7.89 million KRW).
“As there are more consumers who prefer larger TVs, we are trying to satisfy consumers’ needs through a new lineup of large Tvs.” said a representative for Samsung Electronics. “Based on our quality, which is the world‘s best, we are going to continuously introduce new models that are equipped with specifications that correspond to variety of customers’ personalities.”
