LG Electronics is going to introduce Smartphone ‘Stylus 2’ that allows customers to experience premium writing function at a reasonable cost at MWC 2016, which will be held in Barcelona on the 22nd.
Stylus2 has pen point of its Stylus made of fiber material that is nano-coated instead of Rubberdium. One can exquisitely write something just like he or she is writing with an actual pen. It also has an analog feeling by setting up Calligraphy pen type that provides feeling of writing with a fountain pen as a basic font.
Stylus2 is going provide easier and more convenient user experience (UX) with its premium writing function. It has differentiated UXs such as ‘Pen Menu’ that automatically brings up related menu when a pen is drawn, ‘Immediate Memo’ that allows one to make a memo on top of a screen even when a screen is off, and ‘Pen Protection’ that prevents customers from losing a pen by using an acceleration sensor within a phone.
Even though Stylu2 is a Smartphone with 5.7-inch screen, it has a light and slim design with weight of 145g and thickness of 7.4mm. LG Electronics has increased chic of design by applying ‘Spin Hairline Pattern’ on back cover of this product. This product also has a sense of elegance by having its edges made up of metal frames.
“Customers will be able to enjoy entertainments on a large screen and premium writing function at a reasonable cost.” said Department Head Cho Jun-ho of LG Electronics’ MC Business Headquarters. “We are going to expand fun UXs by continuously satisfying variety of customers’ requests in the future.”
Starting with South Korea and the U.S. in March, LG Electronics is going to release Stylus2 in Europe, Asia and others sequentially.
