Samsung Electronics released ‘GC85A,’ a digital x-ray unit with improved picture quality.
Applied with a new image processing technology, this new product is free from screen noise and can clearly display overlapping joints or pulmonary vessels, according to a company source. In addition, depending on the detector’s position, the direction of x-ray radiation can be adjusted vertically, and thus a clear image can be taken in a single attempt. Moreover, this product is equipped with a button to adjust photographing positions and a function to set the position from more than 500 data saved in the system with a single click.
“With improved picture quality, this product helps the medical staff more safely and swiftly diagnose patients,” said a Samsung Electronics insider. “We plan to release this product concurrently in Korea and Western Europe and to supply it to mid to large-scale hospitals.”
