Samsung Electronics partially replaced the management of its Wireless and Video Display (VD) Divisions. Strategy and Marketing Director Kim Seok-pil (Vice President) from Wireless Division resigned from his post and Video Strategy Marketing Director Park Gwang-gi (Vice President) from VD Division left the company for personal reasons.
According to Samsung Electronics on the 2nd, Vice President Kim Seok-pil recently resigned from his post due to health-related reasons. Vice President Kim filled the position of former vice president Lee Don-ju in December last year and has been handling marketing for Galaxy Note 4 in Samsung Electronics’ Wireless Division. However, he left the post in just two months.
For the position of Strategy and Marketing Director, Director Lee Sang-cheol for Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) (Vice President) has been nominated. As for CIS director, SESA Director Kim Eui-tak (Executive Director) will take up the post.
Meantime, Vice President Park Gwang-gi had notified resignation due to personal reasons and recently left the post. A successor has not been decided.
