Blue Communication started the 2nd year of Ulsan Software (SW) Mirae Chaeum project. Through the SW Mirae Chaeum Project, they train professional SW education instructors to resolve the regional SW education gap and provide SW education opportunities for the information disadvantaged group.

There were about 20 officials from The Ulsan ICT Promotion Agency, Ulsan Metropolitan City, Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education, special-education schools, and facilities for children and youth attended the briefing session. They shared business operation plan for 2nd year of Ulsan SW Mirae Chaeum project and discussed the development of the local SW education ecosystem.

Blue Communication CEO, Hee-yong Jeong, said, “We will elevate the Ulsan SW Mirae Chaeum project to the next level with a standardized education system, and expertise in developing our own SW education software and curriculum based on the experience through the implementation of the SW Mirae Chaeum project for the past 3 years… and we are also actively cooperating with Code Club Korea for successful operation.”

Ulsan SW Mirae Chaeum trains advanced SW and AI instructors for job seekers such as career-interrupted woman and youth. Through the SW Mirae Chaeum Ulsan Center opened in April, not only SW education and experiential activities will be provided, but also SW education for the underprivileged will be strengthened through cooperation with local related organizations such as Buk-Gu District.

The director of The Ulsan ICT Promotion Agency, Ja-rok Koo, said “By connecting with Ulsan New Deal project for 4th industry revolution era, we will create high-quality jobs for unemployed youth, career-interrupted woman, retired specialist, and by strengthening cooperation system between offices of education and related organization, we will help and support systematic SW education and experience for children and youth, and contribute to train future SW expert.”
