The Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA) announced on the 30th that the number of newly incorporations in June decreased to 6,065 in three months of continued increase.
The June figure was 10.1% smaller when compared to the same period last year, and 6.5% smaller than the previous month. The number of new incorporations in the second quarter this year was 18,929, which is 0.7% smaller than 19,054 in the Q2 last year and 0.3% smaller than 18,984 in the previous Q1 this year. However, the figure is 19.3% greater than the recent five-year Q2 average of 15,872.
The number of newly incorporated manufacturing businesses in June grew from May, but those of construction and service businesses shrunk. However, compared to the same period last year, the same number from all three of manufacturing, construction and service businesses decreased.
Region-wise, the numbers increased in three metropolitan city and provinces of Kyunggi, Busan and Jeju. Compared to the same period last year, the Incheon, Daegu and Gwangju had their numbers increased. The number of incorporations with more than 100 million Won capital decreased after two months of growth, and the number of incorporations with 100 million or less Won in three months.
6월 신설법인 수 석달 만에 감소세로 전환
중소기업청(청장 한정화)은 6월 신설법인 수가 6065개로 석달 만에 감소세로 전환했다고 30일 밝혔다.
이는 지난해 같은 기간보다 10.1%, 679개 감소한 수치다. 전달에 비해서도 6.5%, 423개 줄었다.올해 2/4분기 신설법인 수는 1만8929개로 지난해 같은 기간 1만954개보다 0.7%, 지난 1분기 1만8984개보다 0.3% 각각 하락했다. 하지만 최근 5년간 2분기 평균인 1만5872개보다는 19.3% 초과한 수치다.
6월 신설법인 동향을 보면, 업종별로는 5월에 비해 제조업은 증가했으나, 건설업·서비스업은 감소했다. 지난해 같은 기간에 비해서는 제조업·건설업·서비스업 모두 감소했다.
지역별로는 전월보다 경기·부산·제주 등 3개 시도에서 증가했다. 지난해 같은 기간에 비해서는 인천·대구·광주 등 3개 시도에서 늘어났다.
연령대별로는 전월보다 30세 미만(2.3%)을 제외한 나머지 연령대에서 줄었고, 지난해 같은 기간과 비교해서도 30세 미만(4.8%)을 제외한 나머지 연령대에서 감소했다.
1억 원 초과 신설법인은 2개월 만에, 1억 이하 신설법인은 3개월 만에 감소세로 전환됐다.
