Electronics Manufacturing Korea 2019 (EMK 2019) and Autotronics Manufacturing Korea 2019 (AMK 2019) was successfully held at COEX, Seoul from May 15(Wed) to 17(Fri). EMK 2019 and AMK 2019 are organized and managed by Reed K. Fairs Ltd., a JV between Korea’s K. Fairs Ltd. and UK’s Reed Exhibitions, sponsored by Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Hanwha Precision Machinery.

EMK 2019 consisted of 5 sub-shows, SMT/PCB & NEPCON Korea, Photonics & LED Seoul, Film Technology Show, Printed Electronics and Electronic Materials Show, and Collaborative Robotics Pavilion. It has also achieved high growth in quality, with exhibitors and visitors increasing more than 10 percent from the previous year.

The exhibition has continued to attract many visitors from all over Asia including Japan, China, Vietnam, India, and Thailand, as well as leading Korean IT companies such as Samsung, LG, and SK Hynix, electronics makers, semiconductor makers, Hyundai-Kia Motors and Renault Samsung Motors.

AMK 2019, which first began in 2017, marked its third edition this year, marking a solid year for the country's automotive electronics manufacturing industries. Compared to last year, not only the exhibitor number, including overseas companies, has increased, but also the ratio of visitors in the carmakers and automotive electronics industry increased, solidifying its status.

As EMK marked the 20th anniversary this year, various concurrent events were co-held during the show. Among them, Smart Factory SMT Demo Line, presented by its exhibitors, including Hanwha Precision Machinery, has drawn much attention from the visitors. In addition, exhibitor seminars on their technology and machines, KAMP’s international symposium on the core technology and reliability for electronic packaging, KIMS’s presentation on the latest technology on electrics and electronics, 2019 International Future Automotive Forum by ET news, presentation and consultation on Prospective Technologies In Robot Industry by Navion, 3D printing technical seminar for startups and small and medium companies by Korea 3D Printing Association attracted visitors’ attention during the show.

To convey our gratitude toward the visitors who supported EMK for the past 20 years, Reed K. Fairs gave out high-speed wireless phone chargers and coffee coupons to 400 visitors each day through a mobile lottery event.
