A smart CCTV watching, listening and speaking like a human that provides more than just a simple monitoring function will be released.
IVS Technology (CEO: Bae Yeong-hun) announced on the 16th that it had successfully developed an intelligent image monitoring system that watches, listens and speaks like a human. In addition to monitoring, this system makes voice commands so as to minimize the damages of crime.
The function of existing CCTVs is limited to collecting images. IVS Technology’s intelligent image monitoring system not only recognizes monitoring targets, such as humans and vehicles, from the collected images, but also identifies behavioral patterns of the targets, and thus detects abnormal situations, such as trespassing, violence and fire.
This system also listens to sounds. The installed sound detection sensors collect and analyze sound and vibration information. The sensors detect abnormal sounds only, such as a person screaming, sound of vehicle collision or a vehicle coming into a sudden stop, sound of explosion and sound of something breaking. Then, it moves CCTV to a direction where the sound occurred and starts extensive monitoring. When abnormal sounds occur, this system determines direction by calculating time difference between the sounds and phase difference of sound waves arriving at the sensors.
CCTV, which is moved to the direction of abnormal sound, sends out various voice commands, such as “Stop” or “It’s police” and this function is helpful in minimizing the damages of crime. When an accident occurs, this system automatically detects the sound, generates an alarm and takes the necessary measures immediately. The speaking function was implemented with Internet speakers.
IVS Technology anticipates that this new technology will serve as a foundation for it to establish a system capable of promptly responding to violent crimes and accidents.
“Our goal is to produce effects greater than human monitoring by giving intelligence to the existing CCTV monitoring system,” explained IVS Technology’s CEO Bae Yeong-hun. “We anticipate that this system will eliminate blind spots by collecting the largest amount of information when abnormal situations occur, and thus contribute to preventing violent crimes that are increasing rapidly each day.”

마치 사람이 감시하는 것처럼 보는 것을 넘어 듣고 말하는 똑똑한 CCTV가 나온다.
아이브스테크놀러지(대표 배영훈)는 보고 듣고 말하는 지능형 영상감시 시스템을 개발했다고 16일 밝혔다. 보고 듣는 것은 물론이고 음성명령을 내려 범죄 피해를 최소화한다.
기존 CCTV는 영상을 수집하는데 한정됐다. 아이브스테크놀러지의 지능형 영상감시 시스템은 입수된 영상에서 사람이나 차량 등 감시 대상을 인식하는 것은 물론이고 행동 패턴까지 파악해 침입?폭력?화재 등 이상 상황을 탐지한다.
소리도 듣는다. 현장에 설치된 전용 음원감지기 센서로 음원과 진동 정보를 수집하고 분석한다. 사람이 비명을 지르거나 차량 충돌 소리, 급정거, 폭발음, 유리창 파손음 등 이상 음원만 골라 탐지한다. 이상 음원이 발생한 방향으로 CCTV를 이동시켜 집중 관제한다. 이상 소리가 발생하면 여러 센서에 도달하는 음원의 시간차와 음파 위상차를 계산해 방향을 판단한다.
비명 소리 쪽으로 이동한 CCTV는 ‘멈춰’ ‘그만둬’ ‘경찰이다’ 등 다양한 음성명령을 내보내 범죄 피해를 최소화한다. 사건이나 사고 발생시 자동으로 소리를 탐지해 알람을 울리고 즉시 조치까지 하는 셈이다. 말하는 기능은 인터넷 스피커로 구현했다.
아이브스테크놀러지는 신속하게 강력범죄와 사고에 대응하는 체계를 마련할 것으로 기대했다.
배영훈 아이브스테크놀러지 대표는 “기존 CCTV 감시 시스템에 지능을 부여해 사람이 직접 감시하는 것 이상의 효과를 거두는 것이 목표”라며 “이상 상황이 발생했을 때 가장 많은 정보를 수집하고 사각지대를 없애 날로 급증하는 강력범죄 예방을 기대한다”고 말했다.
