LG Energy Solution announced on the 7th that it has obtained Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) certification (ISO22301).

ISO22301 is an international standard established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). In the event of a crisis, the overall management ability to quickly restore key functions is evaluated and awarded according to pre-established standards and training behavior.

LG Energy Solution explained that with this certification, as a leading global battery company, it has been recognized by various stakeholders at home and abroad for its differentiated crisis response capabilities.

Last year, the company created a task force consisting of members of major business departments such as environmental safety, logistics, and production to check corporate crisis management capabilities and establish a systematic crisis management system.

"In order to lead the global battery market, it is essential to secure high-quality crisis management response capabilities," said Bang-soo Lee, Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of LG Energy Solution. Adding, "As overseas production bases expand faster, we will focus our capabilities on establishing a global crisis management system."
