NYS (CEO Yoonsoo Lee), the representative Korean agency of YAMAHA SMT, is set to participate in ‘Electronics Manufacturing Korea 2019 (henceforth referred to as EMK 2019)’ which will be held from this coming May 15th (Wed), to the 17th (Fri), to showcase YAMAHA SMT (industrial robot).

NYS has been importing, selling, and servicing YAMAHA Robotics Business Division (formerly YAMAHA IM Business Division) and SMT (industrial robot) related equipment since 1992, for 27 years, and is one of the leading companies that deal with YAMAHA’s SMT.

YAMAHA's high-speed chip mounter 'YSM40R' is a device that provides various functions on a single platform. It is cost-effective and has the advantage of space efficiency with maximum performance in a small space. It can use three types of heads, which are, the RS head, MU head, FL head, and you can choose between 4 beams for optical-type, high-speed chip shooters, and 2 beams for general purpose mounted trays.

Because the YSM40R is capable of delicate work, it supports products with high chip density such as mobile phone main boards and memory. In particular, the head adopts a rotary method, and the speed of 200,000 CPH/m is a strong point from implementing a multi-camera system. In addition, they are showcasing their general purpose equipment which can be installed with the YSM20R 95,000 CPH/m with a high cost-to-benefit ratio, 0201 ultra-small chip, and even large parts reaching a maximum width of 55mm and length of 100mm long.

An official said, “We will introduce IoT, MES System Establishment, Auto Loading Feeder, and other things that are receiving a lot of attention currently,” and relayed that, “We plan to create a place where equipment operators are introduced to various new functions which they can try out.”

NYS CEO Yoonsoo Lee said, “We are currently in the process of equipment stabilization and providing services for Korean companies that have entered the markets of 13 nations, which include China, Vietnam, Brazil, Mexico, and India,” and went on to say, “We plan to introduce the content of NYS’ overseas service support system once again through this exhibition, and to introduce the responsible sale and management of YAMAHA’s superior equipment.” He then revealed their aspiration, saying, “We will become a partner that grows with the clients.”

Meanwhile, Korea Electronics Manufacturing Korea has grown into an internationally recognized exhibition, receiving steady interest from domestic and foreign buyers as Korea’s largest electronics manufacturing exhibition. Since 2017, it has been Co-hosted with ‘Autotronics Manufacturing Korea (AMK)', and provides various seminars and events for exhibitors and visitors.
