KT (Chairman Hwang Chang-kyu) is going to apply blockchain technology to its internal IT asset management system and it is going to develop ‘blockchain-based digital asset management system’ to be more effective in carrying out business tasks.
KT announced that it will be sharing inspection contracts and inspection results of its partners through a blockchain-based digital asset management system. By doing so, it will be able to cut the time it takes to do maintenance on IT assets in half.
Also, it applied blockchain technology to software license management system so that application and approval process of using software can be automated. While it took about two days to apply for this software and to actually use it in the past, now companies can apply for it and use it at the same time.
