IoT Solution World Congress, which took place in Barcelona from the 16th until the 18th, came to an end successfully. This event, which had about 14,000 people in attendance, had about 350 companies participating and introducing various technologies.
Well-known corporations such as Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Intel, Huawei, and Vodafone also introduced their new technologies as well.
Keywords for this event were IoT (Internet of Things), AI (Artificial Intelligence), and blockchain. Most popular topic that covers trends of Industry 4.0 in 2017 and 2018 is blockchain technology.
Many companies are attempting to apply blockchain technology, which started drawing interests starting from last year, to various technologies and industries. Companies that participated in this event held demonstrations where spectators can actually see and experience their technologies.
OASISBloc, which is located in Singapore and was the only South Korean company to participate in this event, had drawn many interests through its data sharing platform.
IoT Solution World Congress was a place where three fields gathered at one place to share various information. Organizers of this event announced that spectators and companies from 114 countries had participated in this event. It is expected that this event will present more topics and trends in 2018 as it came to an end successfully. IoT Solution World Congress will be held from the 29th until the 31st of October in 2019.
