A blockchain platform that compensates for domestic chores and childcare has been developed. This platform implements every economic and cultural activities that are related to food, clothing, and shelter within a household as token economy. Tokens that are received as compensation can be reused for local economy to create decentralized local community economy.
CrosChain Technology (CEO Jung Sang-ho) announced that it will introduce ‘Delio’ platform that financially compensates domestic chores and childcare.
Delio platform pays tokens to housewives or regular family members who perform house chores and childcare. It compensates for various activities such as washing, cleaning, meal preparation, companion animal care, recycling, disposal of food trash.
It induces participation in self-domestic chores by applying gamification model along with compensation. CrosChain Technology has focused on changing the concept of domestic chores from ‘hard work’ to ‘enjoyable work’ and giving economic value.

Delio tokens that are paid as compensation can be used to pay at shopping malls or offline stores that have various home brand products. CrosChain Technology is also planning to introduce self-PG (Payment Gateway) service so that stores can receive Delio tokens without separate payment terminals or fees.
Stores can support offline QR payments based on Delio token just by installing an application into mobile devices. Delio tokens that are used as payments are converted into cash the following day and pay for payments.
CrosChain Technology is also discussing with home appliance manufacturers about their participations in its project. These manufacturers will be considered as ‘H2B (Home to Business’ partners that are responsible for development and distribution of quality home data that is accumulated within Delio platform, customer management, and personalized marketing.
CrosChain Technology is also planning to implement ‘co-creation’, which has customers and companies work together in planning, development, production, distribution, and sales of products, through Delio platform as well. This is a field that has interests from global home appliance brands, rental device providers, and living cooperative associations. CrosChain is also preparing a comprehensive interface that controls home appliance products that are installed with IoT (Internet of Things) technology through Delio platform’s DAPP.
“Companies that have developed by selling products to households show interests to Delio platform from a perspective that they can contribute to societies by compensating for domestic chores fairly.” said CEO Jung Sang-ho. “Delio platform solves social problems and provides economic benefits at the same time.”
