A game that rents out items based on blockchain technology is set to be released soon.
Enjin announced it will be applying its EnjinCoin (ENJ) platform to ‘Age of Rust’, which is currently being developed by SpacePirate Games. This game will rent out P2P (Peer to Peer) game items based on blockchain technology.
Users of Age of Rust will be able to rent out their assets and items to other users.
Items that are rented out will move from a blockchain address of an actual user to a blockchain address of a borrower. When lending period is over due to Smart Contract, these items are automatically go back to original owners.
Gamers will be able to implement various strategies as they can lend out their items to fellow gamers.
It is also possible for gamers to make profit using their items and assets. Because ENJ’s Smart Contract is used, developers who develop items are also able to make profit through commissions that occur whenever these items are rented out.

Enjin announced an innovative ERC-1155 standard that greatly improved current ERC-20 and ERC-721 Ethereum token standards back in June.
It officially launched ENJ’s Smart Contract onto Ethereum’s public blockchain (Mainnet), which allowed Mainnet to create ERC-1155-based items, at the end of July.
