Energi Mine, which is a blockchain-based energy distribution platform provider based in United Kingdom, announced that it signed an agreement with a global energy saving campaign company called ‘ON5’.
ON5 will apply Energi Mine’s reward platform to its energy saving program and pay ETK (Energi Token) as a compensation for saving energy.
Energi Token can be used to pay electricity bills or to charge electric vehicles through Energi Token’s application and it can also be exchanged with cash at exchanges that list Energi Token.
ON5 is currently carrying out various energy saving programs so that 100,000 consumers in United Kingdom will participate in energy saving campaign by 2020.
“By combining our reward platform with ON5’s experiences and knowhow, we are going to help people get in a habit of saving energy.” said CEO Omar Rahim of Energi Mine.
