Large South Korean cryptocurrency exchanges have resumed deposit and withdrawal services of EOS that has converted into coin.
According to industries, Coinone is looking to normalize movement of EOS Coin soon just like Upbit.
Previously, Bithumb and other exchanges temporarily stopped deposit and withdrawal services of EOS at the end of last month for swap, which indicates a process of converting a token into a coin with its own blockchain network.
“Just like other few exchanges, we are planning to start deposit and withdrawal services of EOS Coin as soon as possible.” said a representative for Coinone. “We believe that this whole process will be finished by Thursday when it is normally a day for inspection of servers.”
Previously, Upbit announced that it is going to resume withdrawal service of EOS Coin through its homepage on the 25th. “Because Mainnet of EOS is becoming stabilized, we are going to resume withdrawal service of EOS Coin soon.” said Upbit. “Please wire transfer EOS Coins after checking that address is a Mainnet address of EOS.”

Bithumb and Gopax do not have any plan of resuming deposit and withdrawal processes of EOS Coin soon. Bithumb, which was involved in a hacking incident recently, has resumed withdrawal service of Won based on Nonghyup accounts. It is planning to resume deposit and withdrawal services of cryptocurrencies once it is finished verifying safety issues.
Gopax is planning to observe stability of Mainnet of EOS a little bit more.
EOS, which is considered as a third-generation cryptocurrency, launched Mainnet this month. It has converted from ERC-20 Ethereum-based token into its own independent coin. During its ICO (Initial Coin Offering) process that lasted about a year from the 26th of June of last year, EOS development team called block.one had been issuing EOS tokens. Now the right to issue EOS Coins is held by 21 ‘Block Producers (BP)’ who operate blockchain network.
These BPs have been producing EOS Coins since the 15th of this month. Team EOSYS (Chain Partners) and Team EOSeoul (Neoply) are part of the BPs.
Block.one also distributed a platform software called EOS io Version 1.0 earlier this month.
