KBIPA (Korea Blockchain Industry Promotion Association, Chairman Jin Dae-jae) announced that it has started first session of educations for ‘Blockchain Campus’.
Blockchain Campus program is composed of 5 lectures and it educates people on understanding of technologies from blockchain and cryptocurrency fields and trends of relevant industries and legal regulations through top South Korean experts.
Director Jeon Myung-san of GovernTech was the first lecturer. Director Jeon is the author of ‘Blockchain Government’ and he is the chief security officer from BOSCoin that carried out South Korea’s first ICO (Initial Coin Offering) last year.

His lecture’s title was called ‘What Is Coin Economy?’ and he went over characteristics of blockchain technologies, principles of operation of coin economy and blockchain ecosystems, and true form and method of progress of ICO and relevant issues. He also made a prediction on changes and added values of economic paradigms that will be brought by cryptocurrency.
“We are planning to promote ‘Blockchain Campus’ as a systematic and professional education program that will train blockchain experts, business model planners, and relevant technicians that will be needed by markets.” said Chairman Jeon.
Second lecture will take place at 2 P.M. on the 23rd. CEO Cho Han-yeol of BookJam, who developed Steemit-based application production tools, will hold a lecture with a title ‘Use of Steem and SMT’.
