KOSCOM has established a curriculum that will promote blockchain experts with financial investment industry so that experts from different universities can share their technologies and develop businesses together.
KOSCOM made an announcement that it is going to implement a curriculum for 25 people from its own company, Korea Exchange, and stock firms over a period of 84 hours starting from this month until July to promote blockchain experts.
This curriculum will go over basics in blockchain and fundamental blockchain technologies, development of Ethereum blockchain, development of Hyperledger, dApps (decentralized Application), and mini ICO (Initial Coin Offering) project.

This curriculum will be special as it will cover wide range of blockchain industry such as Bitcoin core, consensus algorithm, ICO analysis, blockchain development, and progress of different projects.
KOSCOM invited Professor Jeon In-tae of The Catholic University of Korea’s Mathematics Department, Byun Dong-sam who is a blockchain engineer from The Language Network, and Heo Kang-wook who is the blockchain leader of Korea IBM’s Innovation Lab.
“Through this education, we expect to see exchange of technologies and co-development of businesses between capital market participants such as stock firms and relevant organizations and financial engineering academic communities.” said a representative for KOSCOM.
