CIS (CEO Kim Soo-ha) is going to leave KONEX and be listed on KOSDAQ in January of 2017. After being listed on KONEX in April of 2014, it is listed on a new market after 2 years and 9 months.
CIS, which is a company that specializes in manufacturing production equipment of secondary batteries, established a joint-company in China and is working fast to enter global markets.
CIS initially focused on display and ceramic coating equipment and is currently increasing its market share in markets for secondary battery equipment that were dominated by Japanese companies after succeeding in making manufacturing equipment for secondary battery's cathode plate. Not only is it working with South Korean companies such as Samsung SDI, LG Chemicals, and SK Innovation but it is also working with global multi-venders such as Panasonic, SONY, and CATL.
In August of last year, CIS established a joint-company called HCIS with a Chinese company that manufactures battery manufacturing equipment in China and has strengthened marketing for China's major secondary battery manufacturers.
