DASAN Networks also made a partnership with NGE. Main point of this partnership is to supply necessary optical telecommunication equipment for Alsace’s state government’s optical telecommunication network project that was recently obtained by NGE. On the other hand, DASAN Networks is going to work on design of ultra-fast internet network, maintenance repair, and education project with affiliates of FAYAT Group.
DASAN Networks has been preparing for this project by establishing a corporate in Chatillon region in early this year. As this project was expanding towards entire region in France, DASAN Networks has focused on localizing its equipment in France. It is planning to increase level of technical support in France and look for additional contracts so that it can eventually expand its influence throughout entire Europe.
“We are going to use preceding experience by South Korea, which is strong in internet industry, so that many Europeans can use internet faster and easier.” said DASAN Networks. “As French Government is promoting this project extensively on major cities in rural regions, we expect that this project will continue to grow in following years.”
