Samsung Electronics have started their preorder on the 1st for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. The sale record of preorder will be the standard for whether the Galaxy S6 will be a hit and success in the market afterwards. LG Electronics will be revealing their smartphone 117 G4 as well in this month. The mobile market is expected to become very active soon.

The 3 mobile carriers are taking preorders until midnight of the 9th, both online and offline. SK Telecom will have sale via online ‘T World Direct’ only till midnight of 6th and also limit the sale number to 5000 phones as well.
The white, black, and gold colors will be sold for preorders. Blue and green versions are to be released in early May. The releasing price for Galaxy S6 32GB is 776 USD and 836 USD for 64GB. The releasing price for Galaxy S6 Edge 32GB is 886 USD and 956 USD for 64GB. The demand for 128GB was too low so it has been exempt from preorder. The mobile industry is viewing releasing Galaxy S6 Edge 32GB model for less than 900 USD as Samsun’s aggressive price decision.
An expert analyzed that Galaxy S6 Edge model holds the key to success for Samsung’s smartphone business. Edge model is receiving many positive feedbacks for its elegant design but seems like the costly price will be the stumbling stone for people.
One of the industry’s expert said, “If the Edge model becomes successful item due to its unique design, Samsung will have another chance in the mobile market to create another history.”
Samsung Electronics will be having Galaxy S6 launching event for the first time throughout the whole China including Beijing on the 31st, Guangzhou on the 2nd, Shanghai on the 3rd, Shenyang on the 7th, Chengdu 8th, Wuhan 9th, and Xian on the 10th.
They are starting the preorder on the 3rd for China. The official Chinese name decided by Samsung for Galaxy is ‘Gairus (盖樂世)’ which is purposed for marketing. It means ‘Happiness covers the world’.
LG Electronics will be putting out their smartphone117 G4 on the upcoming 29th, starting with Seoul than to other 6 countries. It is most likely that these two companies will go head to head this month for smartphone competition.
LG Electronics lowered the price of their G3 Cat6 down to 587 USD. It dropped about 130 USD. They are lowering other products as well, which shows they are trying to run stocks empty and focus on the new upcoming G4.
