Samsung and LG Electronics have come to a settlement to end all their legal disputes and conflicts that has happened in the past. Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics have announced such settlement together on the 31st.
Both companies provided joint report materials and said, “We have decided end all our legal conflicts with settlement.” Samsung’s washing machine damage in last year’s September at the home appliance exhibition that was held in Germany and Samsung Display researcher’s LG Display technology leakage are the two cases that reached settlement.
Both sides agree to converse over any matters or possible conflicts that may pop up after the settlement.
Both sides emphasized that the agreement is for the benefit of the country. With the agreement △wisely reacting to current country’s heavy economic status △production·service improvement for the customers as the main reason for it.
Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics, LG Display and Samsung Display will take necessary steps for dropping charges. Because case has been indicted by the prosecution, both cases will ask for favorable arrangements such as petition to the judicial authorities.
